On June 22, Chen Zuorong, Chairman of the Wenzhou Municipal Political Consultative Conference, hosted a symposium to communicate face to face with industry associations, scientific research institutions and enterprise leaders, and to work together to deepen the development of the pump valve industry chain.

It is understood that there are about 3200 pump and valve enterprises in Wenzhou, with more than 80000 employees. From January to May this year, the city's pump and valve industry achieved a gross industrial output value above designated size of 14.19 billion yuan. At the symposium, the Pump and Valve Industry Chain Office and relevant departments reported on their work. Heads of industry associations, scientific research institutions and enterprises exchanged ideas and suggestions on talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, platform services, industrial support, etc.

   The pump valve has a deep industrial foundation in Wenzhou, which is a key link in the city's building of the "5+5+N" industrial chain. We need to improve our position, strengthen our confidence, keep a clear direction for the development of the manufacturing industry, give play to the role of the "ten one" mechanism of the industrial chain leader system, promote the reconstruction of the foundation of the pump valve industry and the upgrading of the industrial chain, strengthen digital empowerment, scientific and technological innovation, and factor coordination, and speed up the building of an advanced pump valve manufacturing industry cluster.

    We should base ourselves on the current situation and take a long-term view, plan the medium and long-term development plan of the pump valve industry with high standards, and strive to build a national important system process equipment innovation design and manufacturing base. We should strengthen the cultivation of the industrial chain, focus on "strengthening the chain and optimizing the chain", carry out precise investment attraction, vigorously cultivate the chain owner enterprises, promote the construction of large platforms, large enterprises and large brands, and comprehensively enhance the overall competitiveness of the industrial chain. It is necessary to strengthen scientific and technological innovation, increase investment in enterprise research and development, promote the precise connection between enterprises and universities, strengthen the support of science and technology and talents, promote the transformation of industrial development to digital, integrated, intelligent and green, and realize the deep integration of innovation chain and industrial chain. We should increase policy support, increase the guarantee of capital, land, policies and other elements in accordance with the requirements of "one enterprise, one policy", optimize the business environment of enterprises, and ensure the high-quality development of the industrial chain.
