The oil extraction tree is a wellhead device used to extract oil in self-injection wells and mechanical extraction wells. It is the main equipment for controlling and regulating oil and gas production in the uppermost part of oil and gas wells, and mainly consists of three parts: casing head, tubing head and oil extraction (gas) tree body.
(1) Connecting all layers of casing in the well, sealing the annular space of each layer of casing, and bearing the weight of part of the casing.
(2) Hanging tubing and downhole tools, bearing the weight of all tubing columns in the well, sealing the annular space between tubing and casing.
(3) Control and regulate the production of the well.
(4) Ensure the construction of various downhole operations, facilitate the construction of measures such as pressure work, up and down work, and carry out daily production management such as pressure measurement and wax cleaning.
(5) Recording oil pressure and casing pressure data.
Oil extraction tree is also called Christmas tree. It is a kind of wellhead control device when testing oil and gas after the completion of oil (gas) wells, or when extracting oil from self-injection wells and machine wells, etc. It consists of oil pipe hanging and many gates. It consists of tubing hangers and many gates and tees or crosses, and is mounted directly on the casing head. Only one side of the oil pipe out of the tree, called the single-wing oil tree; both sides of the oil pipe out of the tree, called the double-wing oil tree. The tree is equipped with a nozzle (flow stopper), through the replacement of different internal diameter of the nozzle to control the production of oil and gas.
