1.Composition of throttle manifold
Throttle manifold is a combination of several throttle tubes and connectors. A throttle pipe is a pipe with an adjustable cross-sectional area, and the flow rate and pressure of the fluid can be controlled by adjusting the opening of the throttle pipe. The connector is used to connect multiple throttle tubes together to form a throttle manifold.
2. Principle of throttle manifold
The principle of the throttle manifold is to control the flow rate and pressure of the fluid to realize the safe operation of the pipeline. When a fluid passes through a throttle pipe, its cross-sectional area is limited so that the flow rate and pressure are evenly distributed. This helps prevent pipe bursts and leaks and maintains the safe operation of the pipeline.
1、Use the throttling effect of the throttle valve to implement the pressure operation and replace the contaminated drilling fluid in the well.
2、Control the casing pressure and vertical pressure at the wellhead, restore the control of drilling fluid on the bottomhole pressure, and control the overflow.
3、Use the pressure relief function of throttle valve and blowout valve to reduce the wellhead pressure and realize “soft shutdown”.
4、Using the large amount of relief effect of the blowout valve to reduce the wellhead casing pressure and protect the wellhead blowout preventer group.
5、It has the function of diverting the blowout valve to lead the overflow to the outside of the wellsite, preventing the wellsite from catching fire and poisoning the personnel, and ensuring the drilling safety.
